Στο κέντρο της εικόνας παριστάνεται η Θεοτόκος με τους αποστόλους χωρισμένους σε δύο ομάδες. Από τον ουρανό κατέρχεται το Άγιον Πνεύμα με μορφή περιστεράς και φλογόσχημες ακτίνες. Στο κάτω μέρος εικονίζεται ο προφήτης Ιωήλ κρατώντας ανοιχτό ενεπίγραφο ειλητάριο.
