Σιδερένια μέγγενη με βίδα και μεταλλική λαβή περιστρεφόμενη δια χειρός. Ανάμεσα στα δύο χείλη της μέγγενης υπάρχει σιδερένιο έλασμα που, όταν η λαβή ξεσφίγγει, τεντώνεται απομακρύνοντας το ένα χείλος από το άλλο. Διαμετρικά αντίθετα προς τη βίδα της μέγγενης μία δεύτερη βίδα παρέχει τη δυνατότητα στήριξής της σε σταθερό σημείο σε πάγκο εργασίας.
