Εικονίζεται η Κοίμηση της Θεοτόκου. Στο μέσον της σύνθεσης ο Χριστός πλαισιωμένος από αγγέλους κρατάει την ψυχή της με μορφή σπαργανωμένου βρέφους. Εκατέρωθεν της Παναγίας εικονίζονται απόστολοι, με επικεφαλής τους Πέτρο και Παύλο, ιεράρχες και γυναίκες. Σε πρώτο επίπεδο παριστάνεται το επεισόδιο του ασεβούς Ιεφωνία, που του κόβει ο άγγελος τα χέρια.
