Εικονίζεται στο κέντρο η Θεοτόκος καθήμενη σε ξυλόγλυπτο χρυσωμένο θρόνο με τον Χριστό όρθιο στο αρ. της χέρι. Ψηλά ευλογεί ο Πατήρ ημίσωμος και σεβίζουν δύο άγγελοι, ενώ χαμηλά φύεται ρόδον από τον Ιεσσαί και οι κλάδοι με τους προπάτορες. Πέριξ διάχωρα με τους 24 οίκους του Ακαθίστου Ύμνου.
